Meet our April 2024 Member of the Month, Firefighter Avery Gaul. Avery became a member of our volunteer program in 2023. Avery's primary responding station is Sta. 70.  Avery's Spanish speaking skills were valued and appreciated when our crews responded to a rural address in the rural reaches of our district. There was no cell phone service and no internet availability, therefore the crew was unable to reach any interpreter services. Avery 's language skills bridged the language gap barrier and the crew was able to  provide their patient with best quality of care.
