Our Resident Volunteer program dates back generations. These college students gain valuable work experience while attending school to pursue their education in fire and EMS. Successful Residents have moved on to work for fire agencies across the country, many becoming ranking officers and even Fire Chiefs. This award, given at the annual banquet in March, goes to a Resident Volunteer who has shown exceptional service to the District and our community.
